FRUIT-PIERCING MOTH FACTS

Identification
Not sure what species this is. It could be a Noctua species - alternatively it may be in the genus Hypocala This moth is plain brown when seen with wings folded. The hind wings are orange with a black spot in the centre and a black margin.
