I think this is the same species (correct me if not). Here it is at rest in a more "normal" pose.

INSECT FACTS

Identification
This Endotricha species is a small reddish brown moth. The forewings have a creamy white band across the centre. At rest, they have an unusual pose with head up and tail curved upwards and wings held almost vertical against the surface. It looks similar to Endotricha mesenterialis
