Description The Northern Leaf-tailed Gecko has broad leaf-shaped tail. Grey, brown to olive with mottles and blotches. Along the spine, there is usually a dark-edged stripe, with blotches running along it. There is usually a dark M-shaped mark at the base of the head. The belly is whitish.

Breeding Lays clutches of 2 parchment-shelled eggs
Range The Northern Leaf-tailed Gecko inhabits northern Australia and in isolated pockets along the Eastern coast and ranges to the central coast of New South Wales
