REPTILE FACTS

Description
A large-sized grey or green sea turtle without any distinctive markings. Forearms are modified into large flippers. Maximum length 75 cm.

This species can be quite common along the coast. Adults feed mostly on shellfish. Adults mostly nest on sandy beaches along the Cobourg Peninsula. Up to 100 eggs are laid in a season. This species is listed as Vulnerable under the Territory Parks and Wildlife Act.
