The OzAnimals Australian wildlife site presents photos and information covering a wide range of wildlife from Australia including mammals (with many marsupials), birds, reptiles, frogs, fish and spiders.

There are fact sheets for each animal including description, habitat, food, breeding, distribution maps, conservation notes etc.

January 24, 2008 : Insects
Added dozens of new macro Insect photos to the site, including lots of flies, wasps, butterflies and moths.

January 4, 2008 : Barrier Reef Fish
Added some more fish from Great Barrier Reef - these are also marine aquarium fish.

November 27, 2007 : Conservation Status
For endangered species (mammals, birds, reptiles) added the conservation status from the 2004 IUCN Red List of Threatened Animals, produced by the International Union of Conservation of Nature and Natural Resources.

November 4, 2007 : Fish
Added the first batch of fish photos. This includes some tropical fish from the Great Barrier Reef, including Angelfish, Butterflyfish, Clownfish, Blue Tang. These were photographed at Underwater World marine aquarium in Mooloolaba, Queensland.

September 21, 2007: Marine Invertebrates
Started a new section for Marine animals - a few corals to start with.

August 11, 2007 : Baby mammals
Cute!. I've finally got round to adding Rose's baby animal shots from the old Geocities Australian Wildlife site. Rose is a wildlife carer who looks after orphaned and injured native animals for rehabilitation in the wild.

July 1, 2007 : Reptiles
The reptiles section was expanded with several new snakes and lizards added. Additions include the Barking Gecko, Velvet Gecko, Spotted Python, Dugite, Nobbi, Jacky Lizard, Gippsland Water Dragon and others.

June 17, 2007 : More wildlife
Several new Australian wildlife species added including several new bird species: Cockatoos, Boobies, Penguins, Robins, Wrens.
