PINK ANEMONEFISH FACTS

Description
The Pink Anemonefish is pink or pale orange colour with white band down each side behind the head and a white stripe down the back. It has a white tail. It is found in depths from 3m to 30m.

Size
to 10cm

Environment
The Pink Anemonefish inhabits coral reefs on slopes or in lagoons. It is usually associated with the anemone Heteractis magnifica

Food
feeds on algae and zooplankton.

Range
Western Central Pacific, from the Philippine Islands, north to Japan, throughout Micronesia, south to Australia. In Australia it is found from north-western coast of Western Australia to the northern Great Barrier Reef, Queensland.
