CRAMBID MOTH FACTS

Identification
The adult moth is white, with a brown pattern. It has a white margin on the wings which distinguishes it from the similar Agriglypta itysalis.

Habitat
caterpillars live in a shelter of fig leaves joined together by silk.

Food
The caterpillars of this moth feed on the leaves of native figs ( Ficus species)

Range
found over tropical south-east Asia and the south Pacific, as well as Queensland and northern New South Wales.
