INSECT FACTS

Identification
Cockroaches in the Ellipsidion genus are more attractively marked than the despised introduced cockroaches commonly seen in and around the house. This species has tan and brown markings. The antennae are brown and cerci are yellow.

not sure - it was found on a garden plant

Breeding
The female lays eggs in an egg case called an ootheca. The young nymphs hatch out as smaller versions of the adult.
