SORGHUM HEAD MOTH FACTS

Identification
The adult Sorghum Head Moth is grey marbled with reddish brown with a pale band across the middle of the forewings, and a less distinct pale band near the end of the forewings. The legs are long and sturdy in proportion to the body.

wingspan 15mm

Food
The caterpillars feed in the seed heads of Sorghum ( Sorghum bicolor)
