I suspect this Tiger moth was attacked by a Gecko - it looked like it was nearly dead when I shot this - the left antenna looks a bit sad.

TIGER MOTH FACTS

Identification
This Tiger Moth is black with orange-yellow spots on each forewing. It has a yellow head and feathery antennae. The caterpillar is black and hairy with yellow spots.

wingspan 15mm, caterpillar length 15mm

Food
caterpillar feeds on lichens

Breeding
pupates in a thin cocoon attached to a wall or tree trunk.
