Identification
Parotis marginata is a brilliant green moth with prominent eyes and long thin antennae. It has a brownish fringe on rear margin of hindwing. It has a tuft of hairs at the end of the abdomen.

The caterpillars are leaf skeletonizers and can cause significant damage to nursery stock and forestry plantations
