ORNAMENTAL SNAKE FACTS

Description
The Ornamental Snake is a brown or grey-brown snake patterned with lighter and darker spots or flecks. The top of the head is darker with flecked pattern. The lips are barred. The underside is white or cream.

Size
50cm

Habitat
They tend to be found in areas of deeply cracking, alluvial soils.

Food
primarily frog eaters

Range
found in the Bowen Basin of north east Queensland
