PYGMY COPPERHEAD FACTS

Description
The Pygmy Copperheads is glossy and dark coloured above with cream or grey belly. There are no obvious markings on the body. The head and snout sometimes has a copper-brown colour.

80 cm

Habitat
coastal dunes, s grassland, woodland. t is common but rarely seen, being unobtrusive, and hiding under leaf litter, timber, rocks

Range
It is endemic to Australia and restricted to South Australia (state), particularly Kangaroo Island.
